User guide: Tron Cool Cats marketplace (for sellers)

Wow! The Tron Cool Cats marketplace has been launched! Let me show you how it works and how you can benefit from using it!

About the marketplace and how it works

In two words, the marketplace is the place where you can benefit from selling your cool cats or from buying more cats for your collection per the offered price.

It basically works as a kind of auction: the seller offers an item per the asking price, and a buyer can agree with it and pay the full price or provide a seller with an incoming offer, defining a big price for the item. That said, everyone gets its benefits.

How to list your Cool Cat in the marketplace

Step 1: Visit your Cool Cat wallet page. There, you can find all the kitties that you’ve got right now.

We’re sure that you have a bunch of unique Cool Cats, so you may use filters to find the one that you want to list in the marketplace. Filter your kitties by their body type, shirts, hats, or even faces!

Since every filtering you set, makes the search result more accurate and stick-to-the-criteria, you can delete unnecessary filters by clicking on the trash icon 🗑

Step 2: Once you find the right cat, click on its name to open its profile. Find the Offer for sale box, and input the desired TRX amount for the cat sale.

The minimum you can set is 5000 TRX.

Step 3: After that, tick I agree for the offered price and click on the Offer for sale button to finish the listing process.

One more thing: you need to have around 120–150k energy in your TRX wallet (or 15–25 TRX instead) to list your kitty.

Step 4: Approve the listing fee charged from your TRX wallet.

Step 5: If the listing transaction has been approved successfully, your Cool Cat card will change its interface and provide you with the options to Change the price or Cancel selling.

How to check Cool Cats available in the marketplace

For both, selling and buying Cool Cats to your collection, you need to open the Marketplace. To do so, click on the Marketplace tab in the upper part of the webpage

Once you do that, you can see all the listed kitties.

Don’t forget to use filters and sorting options to adjust the search parameters.

How to change the price of a listed Cool Cat

To change the price for an already listed Cool Cat, you need to open its card first.

Step 1: Go to the Wallet section listed in the webpage header.

Step 2: As soon as you find a cat of your interest (it also should have an On sale badge), open its card to proceed.

Step 3.1: If there is no bid price for your Cool Cat yet.

If so, you will find just 2 buttons in your Tron Cool Cat card:

Click on the Change price button, fill in a new price in the box, tick I agree to change the price and confirm the action by clicking on the Change price button.

Don’t forget that the minimum amount you can request for your cat-pet is 5000 TRX.

Once the operation is completed, you will see the message Price changed below the buttons:

Step 3.2: If there is already a bid price for your Cool Cat.

If so, you will find 3 buttons in your Tron Cool Cat card:

Click on the Change price button, fill in a new price in the box, tick the I agree to change the price option and confirm the action by clicking on the Change price button.

Note that this action will not somehow affect the bid price you’ve got, so you still will be able to accept or decline it.

Don’t forget that the minimum amount you can request for your cat-pet is 5000 TRX.

Once the operation is completed, you will see the message Price changed below the buttons.

How to remove a Cool Cat from the marketplace?

In order to remove your Kitty-Cat from the marketplace, please open the Cat’s card from the My Wallet section.

Once you do that, you will see from 2 to 3 buttons (depending on the availability of any offered bid prices for your cat):

You will find the Cancel selling button there, in yellow. Click on it if you would like to proceed with the action.

Please keep in mind that even if you unlist your Cool Cat, we won’t be able to credit back a charged listing fee.

How the bid price is formed?

The bid price is the price offered by a buyer for the chosen item.

The buyer can suggest to you any price, however, you will only be able to accept the highest one. That means, if you get several offers from different buyers, the system will only give you the possibility to make the most profitable deal.

You will see the bid for your cat right below the price you set yourself. Please remember that the bid price is not a push for you to accept it: your cat, your rules!

How to accept an offered bid

You’ve got a bid price for your cat, and it looks attractive to you? Then why not accept it!

Open the Wallet section (or do that from the Marketplace tab instead), find the cat in question, and click on it, opening its profile card. There you will find the Accept bid option as shown below:

Click on the Accept bid button to accept the highest bid for the chosen cat.

There will be an additional confirmation for the action in your TRX wallet. Please, confirm the procedure if you agree with the provided conditions.

Once you do that, your cat is sold, and TRX will be created to your wallet address, linked to the Tron Cool Cat page.

How to decline an offered bid

If you don’t agree with the provided bid price or are not sure if you want to accept it, just ignore the offer.

The bid price will only disappear if the buyer cancels it or if there is a more profitable offer from another interested buyer.

How to check the rarity of your Cool Cat

Not sure about your Cool Cat rarity and coolness? No worries! There are 2 ways to check its status:

Have a look at your Cat’s card. There is a rank in it, showing how chic your kitty is:

Click on the Rarity rank of your Cat or follow this page (both work pretty the same) to learn more about its properties (still, all the Cool Cats are cool by default).
