What inspired you to create your own NFT collection?
Over the past few years, Alesso has been created a series of artworks inspired by “<ジョジョの奇妙な冒険”(JoJo & DIO) in the early period. After combining the American with Japanese pop culture in the 1980s and 1990s and here comes to Cyberpunk, Wasteland punk is juxtised, the most hyped two buzz words for the last 2 years. Highlighting science and technology, fantasy and terror elements. Such subculture has led to variety of creations ranged from art i.e. Blader Runner, Battle Angel Alita, Mad max, etc.
These various cultural characteristics and artistic elements also sharps flourishing NFT ecosystem, even the upcoming higher Dimension — Metaverse. The core sprit of Wasteland punk -“Conflict” and “Revolt”is similar to the living condition where humans are almost being struggling or dying of COVID-19 diseases.
Back to the setting of Quarantine798’s background, it belongs to the competition between different individuals for limited resources, trapped in what’s called the living crisis.

What are your thoughts on the NFT market today, and what are your predictions for the future?
The bigger issue for NFT is their long-term value, which we think is likely to be important. As augmented and virtual reality matures, ordinary people will spend more and more time and money in virtual environments.
For years, there has been talk of augmented and virtual reality taking off in the tech industry, with companies from Facebook to Microsoft making big bets on the sector. But the technology has yet to make mainstream adoption.
But we think there will be many more promising projects in the coming months and years.
