CyberBearz: The Cute but Deadly NFT Bear Army
Cool Cats tron interview the CyberBearz team as part of the #BigNFTGiveaway, exposing the NFT community & awesome new projects to each other in the biggest NFT giveaway in history!
What inspired you to create your own NFT collection?
First of all, I wanted to try a field that’s new and unknown to me, to create something that would be interesting for an international audience (this is the first project of this magnitude for our team). Secondly, I wanted to create a multi-faceted and fun universe that could grow into a range of products and will have its own ecosystem (collection, game, services). Third, of course, was trying to become financially independent of my PR agency day job, it would be interesting to focus on something that inspires me and gives me strength. It’s nice to work on creating characters, plots that intertwine and interact with the community and bring people a little joy.
Tell us what makes your NFT character special
Our characters are an army of CyberBearz soldiers. It’s got different looks, from pandas to mysterious shadow bears, futuristic gear, military ranks, sharp teeth and a knack for rash decisions. They’re fun and reckless, but always follow orders from the Bearz Command. There are clueless recruits, old generals, tough special unit fighters and rigid officers. They all smoke like chimneys and often perish under comical and silly circumstances.
Unfortunately, static NFTs can’t fully reflect and show this as well as we’d like. This is why we’re building a game where it will be very fun to watch these characters and universe develop following its own rules.
What bonuses and perks do you offer your community members?
We didn’t launch with a built-in community reward system in the current contract, but in the future, we will develop this franchise, it will be more than just a collection. The first holders will get rewards from future additional collections, as well as NFTs and royalties.
Share your plans to develop your project in the near future
We have grand plans — crypto provides a lot of room for imagination. We want ro create our own currency (and share it with the first holders), that will connect the future game and marketplace, and will be a key part of the CyberBearz universe.
Tell us something interesting about your team
We have a boring team of 2 people right now, but we’re gonna start hiring new team members soon to make it more fun. We’re simple young guys who are just trying to create something interesting for themselves and for others.
What are your thoughts on the NFT market today and what are your predictions for the future?
Art had to go digital and not just be a pic in a folder on your drive. Decentralization really integrates well into this. But now we’re all caught in the middle of a boom, so it’s early to say anything objective. From a technical point of view, NFTs still have issues that everyone knows anyway.
Why should collectors get your NFT?
Haha, that’s an interesting question. Just take a rookie bear from us before he makes a mess here. Or worse, set something on fire just because he passed out at his post with a cigarette in his mouth.
