ArtPunks: The Fine Art of the NFT World

Cool Cats tron interview the ArtPunks team as part of the #BigNFTGiveaway, exposing the NFT community & awesome new projects to each other in the biggest NFT giveaway in history!

What inspired you to create your own NFT collection?

I used neural networks for style transfer a few years ago, mostly for fun. This year I started making speculations in NFTs, and on one day I came up with the idea to use style transfer neural networks to create the ArtPunks collection. We worked extremely hard to bring this idea to fruition. By creating this collection, we were able to promote art that has inspired the world throughout the years and also reflect the advancements we have made in this industry by highlighting the revolution that is NFTs.

Tell us what makes your NFT character special

Our NFTs are unique in that they reflect the timeline of art history, and how technology has advanced the art industry to what it is today. Not only is the past preserved in this project, but it also integrates modern technology and the future of NFTs all in one. The CryptoPunks aspect is used as a symbol for the NFT revolution as it was one of the first projects to become so widely successful, the traditional artworks in which they are combined with bring light to the value of art, artists and its history, and we also incorporated the works of artists not known on a worldwide scale to showcase their talents and support modern and community artists. What makes this collection special, is what it represents and the symbolism that comes with owning a combination of a cryptopunk merged with a historical or modern art piece.

What bonuses and perks do you offer your community members?

Community is the most important aspect of the project. We work to take all suggestions and ideas from our members into account. We also want to ensure we give back to our community in any way that we can. This has sparked the benefits available for ArtPunks owners. We offer achievement NFTs for individuals who meet certain achievements and then receive a free NFT for meeting the criteria. We also will be offering royalties to ArtPunks holders as long as they remain unlisted. Our community will also have whitelist access to the “frames” collection, and will receive a large percentage of minting royalties, as well as a certain percentage in sales after minting is sold out. We intend to host contests, giveaways and much more activities for the community, as well as continue to generate and implement ongoing ideas.

Share your plans to develop your project in the near future.

In the near future we will be developing and releasing the frames collection which will work to directly complement the ArtPunks project through exposure and royalties to ArtPunks holders. Soon, we will also be implementing royalties for the ArtPunks collection. We also plan to work with art galleries and other art-oriented programs to showcase the collection, as well as work with local artists. There are many activities we have planned for the community including contests, campaigns and giveaways. We have a dedicated marketing plan in progress and will continue to listen to the feedback of the community as well as generate ideas for constant expansion as the NFT space advances and develops. The roadmap will be tailored to allow for innovation and expansion.

Tell us something interesting about your team

Our team comes from all different parts of the world, in the team we have people from the United States, Poland, Nigeria, India, Philippines, and Pakistan. We are very diverse in not only our location, but also in our skills and expertise. Diversity is something we celebrate, and believe is needed to ensure that all aspects of the project are addressed appropriately and managed effectively. By having team members with different skills and backgrounds, we are able to ensure that new ideas are investigated and tackled from many different points of view to make sure it is suitable for all community members and holders and appeals to a wide audience.

What are your thoughts on the NFT market today and what are your predictions for the future?

Nobody can predict the future, however, we see the NFT market now as in its infancy. It is just the beginning for this area, and we believe it will expand rapidly as it becomes more mainstream and accessible to the general public. The NFT market is a new concept, and when something is new, it can always be improved upon and will have its problems that will need to be solved. The value that it brings to so many different areas is amazing, and it is only utilized by a very small percentage of the population at this time. We imagine as more people start to enter the space, we will begin to see more and more innovation, there are so many possibilities for the future when it comes to NFTs and its markets.

Why should collectors get your NFT?

Our NFT is representative of the art industry, and although it may not be feasible to own the Mona Lisa, a Van Gogh or even a CryptoPunk for many, ArtPunks allows individuals to collect pieces that symbolize those historical works and the value they have. Not only is it amazing to own something of this symbolic nature, it also promotes the importance of art and support for artists everywhere. Further, the more ArtPunks you own, the more you will receive in passive income, which only increases as the value goes up. We plan to ensure there are many benefits for the community and for collecting these pieces, and will work relentlessly to ensure we are always creating more and more value for the project and those that choose to be a part of it.
